Medical Needs and Surgeries

The following are Sanctuary residents that have recently had surgeries and/or other needed veterinary care. If you would like to make a donation to assist us with these life-giving procedures, donation buttons are located at the end of each animal's story. We truly appreciate any and all donations. Thank you.

Moose recently had surgery to remove a fatty tumor that had doubled in size since September.  This tumor weighed over 3 lbs. once it was removed. His surgery charges came to $678

Little Penny had to have emergency surgery on the same day that Moose went in for his surgery.  She was not herself and seemed uncomfortable.  Once she was examined, xrays done and an MRI, it was discovered that she had an infection in her uterus.  This was an emergency situation as her uterus could have burst at any time.  For such an old little girl, she came through the surgery and is flying through her recovery.  Total charges for her surgery were $1,025
